Generations of Pain

This was from a photoshoot I did with a bunch of my friends downtown. In Denver, there's this spire with cables coming down from it that roughly looks like a ship's mast half fallen over. I have absolutely no idea what it was built for, but as far as I'm concerned, it's for making photographs awesome.

The large number of converging lines bring the viewer's eye right up to the convergence point, and the building that's right next to it makes it pretty easy to balance the composition. Working with my friend Mr. Armstrong here and his blue and skin peach color palette, the blue sky in the background, and just a little bit a of the afternoon sun make getting this shot easy and fun.

In any case, I'm quite pleased how this one came out. Illuminated with two flashes to fill the shot.
