So with Facebook's new "timeline" layout they allow you to add a cover image. Since nothing in my life is allowed to escape my pony themed shenanigans I decided that I wanted to make ponies into my cover.
However, as much as I post painted and drawn ponies here on Deviant Art, my actual talent is with photography. So I wanted to make a picture for my cover.
However, just simply putting ponies on a black or white field would have been boring. So I needed some kind of background or terrain. That spawned this project.
Included in the download are several files, 2 mountains, 2 hills, and 2 bushes, including folding recommendations and stands as appropriate.
Turns out that the stands for the hills are a bit too small, so I'd recommend either making them a bit longer or just ignoring them, but that's your choice.
The supports for the mountains have lines in them. To get the best strength you should fold them into a crinkle on the lines. This will greatly increase the rigidity of the support strut.
To use these you'll need a tool that can handle SVG files. If you don't already have one, you can use Inkscape (available from [link]
), which is a fairly decent, free vector graphics program. If there's demand for it I could probably make these into PDF files for easy printing, but if you need them for a different scale (they're intended to be used with the 50mm tall blind bag ponies,) the PDFs won't scale.
If you have any questions about folding it up let me know in the comments and I'll see if I can help.
