Fallen. Past tense of fall. by JimTheCactus Fallen. Past tense of fall. by JimTheCactus
So if you'll recall, last week I mentioned I was doing Inktober, and it had occurred to me that I could do the ATG theme as part of that.

Well, Monday rolled around and it occurred to me that it was technically possible to do the ATG theme for every day in the week. So I present to you my submission(s) for the MLP-ATG-Alumni's week 174 theme: A fallen pony. The definitions used are shown in order on the prefix and postfix cards and the comments that went with each at below:

- "Celestia’s life was turned upside down by the arrival of NIghtmare Moon. She couldn’t begin to fathom how her sister had fallen so far."

- "Though she had started high like Rainbow Dash had suggested, Twilight couldn’t help but wish the ground had been closer when she lost control"

- "Having domain over the woodland creatures had it’s perks, and Fluttershy would be the first to admit that. That said, knowing all the best relaxing spots in the forest was her personal favorite."

- "Canterlot was a dense, urban metropolis, so Spike had only seen the leaves around decorative trees and in pictures. During the race he had been in awe of the colors. But now that they were on the ground and his responsibility, the leaves were a lot of work, and Pinkie was not making things any easier."

- "Applejack didn’t really have a head for numbers, but even she could tell they’d have to do something if they wanted to keep the farm."

- "The day had started on a high note, with Sweetie Belle looking to make her sister a great breakfast on her birthday. However, now her face fell as Rarity derided her for not being good enough again."

- "She didn’t know when it happened, and she wouldn’t admit it, even to herself, but Rainbow Dash had come to love the little squirt."

Bonus fact: Each of the Mane 6 plus Spike AND each of the CMC appear precisely once throughout the course of the week. This was unintentional except for the last one, at which point I realized I only needed a Rainbow Dash and a Scootaloo to finish the collection.

A very nice idea and a nice style as well. The fact with all characters is funny too. :) A good example to show that good work doesn't need much graphical complexity.

I'm glad you like it. :) I know for me it feels kinda like a Peanuts comic, but I'm okay with that as Shultz's work was my favorite as a kid.

Peanuts are awesome! I loved the cartoon as a kid and still love it today. It was just different from most other stuff and often had this melancholy feeling, but still was somehow lighthearded.

Creative and well-executed all around.
Looks like somepony fell off the Sweetie Belle and hit every definition on the way down!

I'm glad you like it. I basically just opened the dictionary every morning and looked for a definition of Fall that felt like I could draw something for it.

Turns out there are enough definitions I could do this for at least another week. XD

I've been seeing all of these come up on my tumblr dashboard all week, and it never once occurred to me that each of them fit the Alumni's theme. I've clearly not been paying enough attention...

It doesn't help that it was my goal not to bring attention to it so I could make a big reveal at the end of the week. ;)
